Updated review after they finally contacted me

Updated review: - After I had written a review with a one star rating they finally reacted to my emails, apologized and reimbursed the money for the express shipping, so - some customer service at last! They even were so kind to send me a gift card - they are really trying to improve their customer relations! Thanks! I now feel more confident to order with them again. Original review: I am - or better was - a loyal customer and over the years have ordered many things at Hanna Anderson. For the last order of 14 items I chose 3day express delivery, paying 14 $ extra because we needed some of the clothes urgently, but only three out of these 14 items arrived on time and not the ones we needed first. When I ordered, all items were in stock and according to the order confirmation would be delivered in 3 work days. But the majority arrived 4 days late ( after 7 workdays) - without any explanation given. I emailed the company three times and left feedback, kindly asking for the refund of my 14$ for the express shipping.No reaction whatsoever.... What a horrible customer service!!!

Read below. They contacted me in January and made good the 20% offer. Hanna Anderssons website states that in exchange for your email, you will receive a 20% discount code on your first order and that’s all it says. When I went to place my order and put the code in , it states invalid. Apparently they sent me an email stating that it’s not applicable to sale items. I didn’t receive it because I was trying to place my order . I believe this is false advertising and simply a way to acquire emails . customer service was not helpful and I have cancelled my order.Want to add that I was contacted in January and refunded my 20% and given a gift certificate. I conclude that they do care about their customer service , altho , if I hadn’t written the original review, I don’t think I’d have heard from them again. I’m looking forward to see if they change their initial 20% off offer. I certainly feel better about them . Thank you for paying attention, Heidi from Hannah Andersson .

Love Hanna quality

Love Hanna quality. Truly amazing. Pajamas are EXPENSIVE, but you’ll never find anything that lasts longer. HOWEVER, I have a store in my town (Nashville) and am very disappointed I can no longer ship to store. When I emailed them for an explanation, I received no reply. This makes no sense. Half the time I picked an order up I would end up purchasing another item from an in store sale. The shipping for one dress is $8.95. I’ve defiinitely purchased half as much as I normally would’ve in the past 6 months because of this shipping change. I don’t always have a $100 order and they rarely do free shipping on anything less. The sales are a joke. Hanna your client a can do a simple math calculation. Rarely is the discount for more than anything other than to cover shipping. They need to implement free ship on $50 ormore! Boden rarely has sales, but they do have free shipping on $50 and their customer service is stellar.

I love Hanna Anderson

I love Hanna Anderson. I have purchased items for over 25 years from them. First for my daughter when she was a toddler n now for my grandkids. I love the soft cotton. U have to know the correct sizing, u must measure child n use 110, 140 instead of the normal sizes.Overall wear is excellent. I gave my granddaughter my daughter's hand me downs n they were in wonderful shape.

The clothing is so soft and in my experience, very durable. I also appreciate the return policy because if any of my Hanna clothes don't hold up the way they should, I take it back. I pay $8 for the return shipping label and send every single items that either faded or the fabric didn't hold up, as a mom of boys, I love that promise of durability. I have to say, I have had bad customer service a few times, however, all I had to do is get in touch with a manager and everything got resolved. I have had similar experiences with most other companies. This is nothing particularly unique to Hanna Andersson. I have noticed some big changes this year to some of their clothing, customer service, and shipping. Items are now shipped on time, sometimes even early. Customer service responds to emails very quickly, like sometimes within the hour or sending the email. Overall, the clothing remains very soft. If it's not soft, it goes back, even if my kids wore it and I washed it. If you have had a bad experience with this company when they switched owners, I recommend giving the company another try. I think most people will be pleasantly surprised with how the company has dramatically improved!

My experiences have been very different!

Reading the reviews here certainly prove that the people who are likely to respond are the ones with a beef! I have bought Hanna for several years and have yet to be disappointed with the quality or sizing. For that reason I have not had an experience with their customer service so can't speak to that. However, I am unhappy with long delivery times. My last order took 10 days to process and a week to arrive once shipped. Perhaps I have been spoiled by Amazon but it does seem a bit excessive length of time.....I definitely recommend their clothing. Very cute and substantial.

Ray of sunshine

I took a year off from ordering Hanna for my grandchildren due to customer service experiences similar to the ones described on this site. I ordered just one item after that year and all went well, so I took the plunge and made a big order. One item arrived in entirely the wrong size. Cursing under my breath, I called the 800 number. It was picked up on the second ring by a live person who heard the issue, checked the warehouse to find it out of stock in the correct size, and promised to "go shopping" for me in stores to find the item in the correct size, to be FedEx'ed to me. I didn't expect anything to happen. Two days later, the item in the correct size arrived; I put the wrong-size item in the same bag, affixed the label, and sent it back. My account was not charged for the return postage. The matter was resolved quickly and professionally, and has given me new hope (and reminded me what a delight the company was when the now-grown kids were children).

Update

I can’t image what is going on with this company. I have ordered fabulous clothing for my children. Now grandchildren. The last couple of months it’s been a disaster beyond belief. Their new hires should be fired. How many other companies has she run into the ground. Looking at her last employers I would say a few. Their IT department should go. After several attempts at communicating with them I will ask my credit card to reverse my charges. They don’t have the decency to put information on their site to apologize for their inability to function in a reputable manner. Shame on them. 12/2/2017 After speaking to several Hanna Anderson employees and several email exchanges I have received all the merchandise I had attempted to order. They made a huge attempt to fix the problems I previously stated.
