LOVE LOVE LOVE !!!I bought this e-reader after getting frustrated with trying to get my old Kindle to work. I had given up on it a number of years ago and tried to resurrect it. It proved hopeless. I am not a whiz on the computer and tried everything to move the books into the device, and then just gave up.Since I read a lot of Victorian novels, many things I look for are in the public domain, and new things I just take out from the library in book form.This e-reader is so easy to negociate !! I use kindle but just converted to Kobo Forma. I tried the Kindle Oasis, and it is too slippery, small, and expensive compared to the Forma. I liked that the Forma as the Overdrive and Pocket integration and the whole interface is way cleaner than Kindles. I liked that the device goes in sleep mode showing the cover of the book I was reading. This device is super light and comfortable to hold. I am surprisingly very pleased with it.

Say Goodbye to Amazon!!!

I have owned some type of kindle since 2011. For the last couple of years, I have became concerned with Amazon practices and have been searching for a way out. I first tried nook and that was a terrible experience. The device was very quirky. I didn't keep device 2 months.I just purchased a Kobo libre and absolutely love it!! I cannot believe I waited so long to switch. The whole interface experience is so much better than anything Amazon has. I now have a comfort light (and did not have to pay over $250.00 for it), statistics on my reading activity, and so much more. I love how everything is laid out on device so that I don't actually have to leave book to adjust something. Borrowing from the library is so easy!! Thank you for making such a reader friendly device and experience!! I am so glad to get away from Amazon and especially now with how they are treating there employees during this time of crisis!! From all that I have researched, Kobo is extremely dedicated to improving the reading experience and I can see this is true!! Thank You!

I love all mu KOBO devices but I have to go threw Walmart which I hate. Walmart employees have no training on the product. They do not even know what an ereader is and i asked all Walmart in my city, I cant do direct ship from kobo for I cant get deliveries at my address. i have to have UPS or FEDEX held for pickup and can not get a streight answer from kobo on what us shipper they use

I placed an order with Kobo for an eReader

I placed an order with Kobo for an ereader. They sent me a shipping confirmation with a tracking number. I have been tracking the order and it shows as delivered on their Order Status but I have never received it. Canada Post tracking has assured me they don't have the parcel and have never had it. Canada Post has never picked up that shipment. There is no help. No number to call. No customer service. No recourse. I am out 280$ for a reader and sucker me can do nothing about it. Do Not Order a Reader Online you may never get it and you will have no way to get your money back.****************************Reply to company reply. I have tried getting satisfaction through your chat support. I was informed by them that Canada Post Shipments are not their responsibility and I should follow up with Canada Post. Except. The vendor chose Canada Post, not me, it is the vendor's responsibility to ensure the package is delivered. It is my responsibility to pay for it, which I have already. When does Kobo look after their part?*********************************Received an update from Kobo today April 24th. They apologized for the delay and the shipment is on its way now. Thank you Kobo

I enjoy using my Kobo Touch

I enjoy using my Kobo Touch, but there is one thing that I would like to see included. When I'm charging my Kobo, there isn't anything to show me how much % is left before it's ready, or a countdown to say (for example: 5 min until full charge) It's a bit frustrating not knowing how long there is until it's ready. Having this would help me and so many others out. Thankyou, have a great day! :-)

Kobo is GREAT - but there's always room for Improvement

I LOVE the incredible range of fiction and non-fiction books accessible for purchase to Kobo members. Their 'reader' is excellent. It's great to be able to highlight quotes for future reference, use the 'instantaneous dictionary and make notes while reading. Purchases for account holders are incredibly easy and one's purchase appears in one's library almost instantly. Their Customer Service is just excellent.Just one complaint: I want to submit a book review but cannot figure out how to do this. The search button Under HELP comes up with nothing for this query.A Google search result indicates that there is a button for this purpose under 'Kobo" on the home page. I can't find it. Please make this function more evident and easier to access.

Love my 2 Kobo Aura readers

Love my 2 Kobo Aura readers. All my books sync, whether I open it in the app on my phone or on the Aura or the Aura One. The one thing I noticed is that the highlights and notes don't sync across all the devices, so I make sure the Aura has all of them. I guess you can call that my default Kobo because I have it with me practically everywhere. I rated Kobo 4 stars because of that snag, i.e., highlights and notes don't sync through all devices. Other than that, I love my Kobos!
