Some of you have no idea .. how expensive plus size stuff is in Australia... I spend $1000 at torrid and get a whole wardrobe. Amazing clothes one of kind (in aus anyways) I spend $1000 in Australia and I’m lucky to maybe get 5 basic dresses. I am happy to wait for my order. Because we can’t get anything like this ,, anywhere.. they cater for everything short legs long legs , different shapes and sizes.. Australia only has the size 22,24 etc no different cuts , shapes etc you get what you get ... cheap crap.I don’t shop anywhere else

This is my all time favorite store to shop at! I only wish they had more Disney Items in their actual stores and also carried some Short size pants instead of only online. I wish they didn't make some of their t-shirts the 'skinny' fit also because not everyone likes skin tight clothes. I ordered a bathing suit online the beginning of this month and because of everything shutting down it took a little bit they kept in contact when my order would be shipped and then finally arrived.

I used to love Torrid a lot

I used to love Torrid a lot. They were like a more trendy Lane Bryant. Their clothes have gotten a lot more matronly over the years and doesn't really appeal to my fashion sense. The bras aren't as great as they used to be, but I still LOVE the panties. Also, their clearance deals are usually amazing, but the layout is pretty hard to pick through. I guess that's the point, though. If they do some joint ventures or partnerships, maybe they can revitalize.

I have had the pleasure of shopping at Torrid for a number of years now, and I have to say that Torrid is one of my most favourite stores to shop in. There is always lots of selection and always new and exciting clothing waiting to be tried on!! I love the torrid clothes I have, and I especially love that when I shop at the Fashion Outlets on Military Road in Buffalo, New York just how friendly the staff are. Ashley Zimmy, the manager is outstanding! She knows how to make a girl feel special, as she helps put the many outfits together. If something isn’t in stock or is sold out, Ashley doesn’t hesitate to order it. Without a doubt, Ashley is a caring and very helpful Torrid employee! It’s no surprise why she is the manager of her store. She’s very personable and you can always see how she helps her team help the customer out. This is very important as Torrid shoppers really get to enjoy their shopping experience!! Ashley makes every visit to Torrid great!!

I've gotten underwear and clothing from…

I've gotten underwear and clothing from Torrid in the past (online) and always been pretty happy. It is expensive, but at least it fits my plus-size. I recently bought a bunch of stockings, I wore a brand-new pair last night to dinner. I wasn't doing anything but sitting there, and when I went to the bathroom, I found a long run already starting from my thigh to my knee! Ridiculous!! I was super careful (these weren't cheap!!) but they're still flimsy as hell. I'm afraid to wear the other ones now! Can't we have plus-sizes AND durable? For what we're paying, I think we deserve that!

I like torrid because of their inclusive sizing, I just wish they weren't so expensive. I feel like they are taking advantage of plus size people because they know plus size clothing is hard to find so they charge more.

Fast fashion quality, high pricing

I used to love Torrid, however, as the years have gone on it seems they are falling more into the fast fashion trap yet their prices are not reflecting this. Torrid is a great store to find plus size clothes and they often have amazing pieces, but their quality seems to keep declining while their prices remain stagnant or even increase. Looking at their shoes specifically, the quality is atrocious yet they are charging upwards of $70-$100 for them. I will give them credit though, seeing as their activewear is pretty decent and their underwear/intimates are sturdy. I will also say their shipping speed is quite bad, especially for a store with few easily accessible brick and mortar locations. They do have some great, high-quality pieces, but I am noticing more and more that the older items I bought are outlasting the newer ones.

When the employees out shine store manager

I shop in Westshore location over the years but recent I notice another shift in staff and the ladies seem very knowledgeable. But I recently had an experience with an employee, just to find out she was the store manager as I described her to another employee to inquire her name. I notice that she picks which customers she chooses to help and had a nasty attitude while ringing me up along with a lot of facial expressions. I work hard for my money and Torrid isn’t cheap but to be treated like that isn’t called for maybe it’s time for a new store manager that has some people skills.

Birthday gift to myself-
